No, not at all. But you set yourself up for criticism if you say, think Foxygen is the bees knees but think the Rolling Stones are a bunch of morons. Or if you say Dylan has no talent before you've tried to write a decent metaphor. You can choose to not listen to the Beatles, but much of what you like was actually invented by them.

I never praised Foxygen.
I do not like the Rolling stones, the Beatles, or Dylan's music (with some exceptions, like Moonlight Mile).
Did I ever say they did not have talent (other than when I criticized Dylan's mumble mouth singing)?
No. I said, as I will always say, I DO NOT LIKE THEIR MUSIC. Jeez how freaking hard is it to convince you guys that not everyone likes every band. I did not criticize their talent OR their influence. All I said is I don't like their music.
