This letter from Frank Sinatra is dead on…spot on.. unfortunately…. and from that letter on how many albums did George Michael release? Three (one a very underwhelming covers album even I did not like and I tended to like just about everything he did…).. in 26 years.. his last studio album was in 2004

When Sinatra said he'd been there.. he'd been there… the period between leaving Columbia and Mitch Miller and signing with Capitol…..quite a few years.. where he was basically being supported by his mistress and then girlfriend Ava Gardner… complete wasted years.. and he knew it… he knew he'd wasted much of his prime feeling sorry for himself and drinking….and when he got a miraculous second chance spurred largely by his role as Maggio in From Here to Eternity.. well, he conquered the world and he never looked back… and he kept working and working and working..

Not to mention the soundtracks, man, the soundtracks!! Titanic, Rent, Wicked, Dirty Dancing!!

It's weird because you have all this college-girl-who-thinks-shes-artsy stuff like the soundtracks and the NSync and Backstreet Boys and John Mayer, then all of a sudden her life takes a weird turn to the jammy stuff.

But where the hell did the System of a Down, 3 Doors Down, Creed, and Counting Crows come from? Did she inherit the Beatles and Floyd or did a jam kid turn her on to them? Where does the Dashboard Confessional fit in!?

Honestly, there are so, so many questions I need answers to.

How does one decide to buy/acquire Beatles Anthology 3 but not 1 (which sold a shit ton IIRC) or 2?
