Walk,y… Where have you been for the past decade?

I'm going to give myself some credit here.

In the early days of the board, his name was "bunnyman", presumably because he liked that band.

He mentioned being a gay bear, so I suggested he change his name to "bearman", which he did.

Having met him since then, "bearman" is much more appropriate. And he's a really good guy to boot.

Bonus info for Walky only: My wife and I refer to each other as "bunny" and "bear." I'll let you figure out who is who.

The similarities to Donna Tartt's The Secret History just continue to mount.
Wait . . . Bearman, and Space, are bears?

Excuse me; my hand needs attention.

Wait, I thought space was Neil Youngs grungy cousin.

space is not what i would consider a bear.  he's lean (he bellyaches that he's fat, but he's not).  he's not particularly hairy, and he doesn't look particularly cuddly to me.  he's much more of a twink (despite being what… 50?).

bearman, on the other hand, does conform to the bear moniker in many ways.  very high bear-hug/cuddle factor.  hairy with beard, at least the last time i saw him.  and as others have pointed out, he's a class act.  just the nicest and most interesting guy.  i've only chatted with him 3 or 4 times, but he's one of my top ten IRL boardies.

let's not forget his monumental claim to fame…rumor has it…he read the letters of Impeachment on the House floor!

I say your description isn't too far from the truth…but to physically objectify Bearman is to miss most of his greatest qualities as a human

also if space is going to be called a bear…he'd probably look like this

Hold your horses. Everybody makes the list. There aren't even ten of us here.
Hey Sweetcell, what was the last time you saw me? Did I mention I've gained 25 pounds since my last marathon in 2013? And though I choose not to, I could grow a full beard and have before.

Twink, yeah right! Doesn't Vansmack have that term locked down among 9:30 boardies?

Still, I could never be the bear that Bearman is.
