random . . . randomness

By 11 a.m., any brewery will do.
The breweries in Williamsburg cannot possibly be worse than the wineries. Woof.

But seriously, Brass Cannon is OK. (Full disclosure: I am friends with a manager there and may get a percentage of every referral who comes in name dropping "Julian. You know which Julian, dammit.")
I've never been to Williamsburg but if I did, I don't think there are any breweries there I'd bother seeking out. I guess Williamsburg Alewerks is the one whose beer I have had. I'd drink their beer if it was free at a party, but I wouldn't make a detour to stop at their taphouse.

But yeah, up at 5am to chaperone 4th graders…you deserve a beer!
should have brought a flask
Anybody else a little hungover from celebrating the Mystics championship just a little too hard?

I raged and partied on to the crack of 9:15pm.
Umm no

While changing channels I noticed the mystics were down like I want to say 59-51 or something and figured they had lost but thankfully not

I was at the Titus/Control Top show and Bagley texted me "Mystics!" I did not know about that to which he was referring to, and asked for clarification. Really had no idea that there was a playoff series going on!
It's clear we need a mystics/WNBA thread for these discussions
I thought you guys were talking about the Julia Robert's fan club the whole time
How embarrassing for you guys!

this is a real world history lesson…Starving Time

1609–1610. There were about 500 Jamestown residents at the beginning of the winter. However, there were only 60 people still alive when the spring arrived.

I had no idea women's basketball season was currently happening.

Yup Chief Powhatan got pissed off and wouldn’t let settlers out from the fort so they couldn’t get food…the few people alive were in the midst of abandoning when reinforcements finally arrived
I just learned that at the exhibit

We are currently looking at an animal hide
I have unblocked Hutch for the day because Hutch liveblogging Colonial Williamsburg for us is quality content, beef aside.
