random . . . randomness

I work in a building with only six floors, but with at least 12 elavators spread out over two locations. It never takes more than five seconds to get an elevator once you press the call button, even during "rush hour".

I hate it when you get in an elevator and the door starts closing and some asshole is running down the hall but is still 20 feet away and starts yelling "Hold the elevator, hold the elevator!".

Then  you don't hold the elevator and the door closes before he gets to it and then you hear him start pounding on the elevator and cursing at you, because he's going to have to wait another five seconds to get another elevator. Actually, I don't hate this part. This part is actually quite amusing. Especially when I pretend that guy is Hutch.

Fair enough. Glad you are on the right side. I guess I'm going to have to imagine it's Atomic. Or Donald Trump.
I've never once taken the elevator at my office building, all stairs all the time. My ass is magnificent. Or at least, it is in theory. I mean, it really should be. Goddammit.
oh I'm sure, it is.

I honestly believe this happens regularly
You can't get a suntan on the moon but I wouldn't mind a holiday there…

"They say that we can?t criticize their dishonest coverage because of the First Amendment, you know, they always bring up the First Amendment,? trump said.

That First Amendment can be inconvenient for anyone longing for power without scrutiny. Mr. Trump might want to brush up on what it means, and get used to it.

in another article…

the Committee to Protect Journalists, which typically advocates press rights in countries with despotic regimes, issued an alarmed statement on Friday about Mr. Trump?s escalating language.
?It is not the job of political leaders to determine how journalists should conduct their work, and sets a terrible example for the rest of the world,? said the group?s executive director, Joel Simon. ?The U.S. should be promoting press freedom and access to information.?

I do think it's good that the American public is getting a daily civics lesson
^that is so sad.. this is what happens when you have people spreading this anti-muslim and anti-immigrant bigotry…
new and somewhat dystopian slogan

Danish Man Who Burned Quran Is Prosecuted for Blasphemy

I'll see your fucked up and raise you a million: He yelled ?Get out of my country,? witnesses say, and then shot 2 men from India, killing one

Indeed both very horrible. Unfortunately killing due to bigotry is all too common in the world…a Western court enforcing blasphemy laws is much more rare and a frightening sign of cultural regression.

yeah..whereas a guy walking up to two people he doesn't know at a bar and trying to kill them after yelling at them to get out of the country  is a sign of the progress in the West..

Most definitely is not. I guess I should have cc'd you on the email i sent to my wife about how horrible that was.
Jimmy Kimmel's OJ joke was by far the best line of the night.
I liked that someone had the balls, to make fun of mel, since everybody is back to sucking his cock.
