I would like to see IMP adopt variable ticket pricing like Live Nation.

As far as surge pricing on beer….
I notice beer lines on third floor at Anthem can be much shorter than on Floor or second floor. I wonder if fluctuating beer prices would help more evenly spread out demand.


It’s probably too convoluted and not worth it.

It’s not about making more money -in this case- but helping people by balancing beer lines. We try to encourage people to go up to 3 but it’s not easy….

Wait times to buy anything in an entertainment venue are expected. Unpredictable pricing is not. People want to know ahead of time how much they're going to shell out. Surge pricing doesn't allow that.

They should have screens posted around with line length at the bars, like they do in parking lots.
However if on the first floor and see there is no line on 3rd floor, by the time you get there, there could be a long line

also, how much more can you charge for a drink? Pretty sure everything is $12 to $16 anyway…
