random . . . randomness

No.  I was just posting that it was not funny to me;  the character's name is Sarah Connor, not Sarah O'Connor.

So to everyone here, no matter how you celebrate the 4th, please be safe.  No driving even if you are slightly under the influence of whatever.  Without all of us here this place would be a lot different.  Enjoy the holiday weekend!
Soccer and the Grateful Dead all in one weekend: possibly the low-point in the history of humanity.
was that the only thing that happened this weekend?  wow . . . you need to get a life.

that why you should be nice to your sys admins!

Just today, my sys admin is blaming "issues" for postponing my PC replacement. Damn you, ISIS!

It is sysadmin not sys admin.

Do you also type fire fighter instead of firefighter?  8)

I do think it's kind of both. "Sys" and "admin" are accepted abbreviations for "systems" and "administrator" obviously. "Sysadmin" is a recognized portmanteau of the two abbreviations, agreed. But "sys admin," non-combined is obviously still two valid abbreviations that make sense.

It's like arguing "sex expert" isn't a valid term because "sexpert" exists; they're both valid ways of expressing the same thing.
Not the same thing; Sexpert is not a real word, Sysadmin is.
