Any personal views of anyone on the military, their role in the world today, armed conflict, or anything related, any time I hear some fucking reporter say that Memorial Day is to honor those who 'made the ultimate sacrifice' I want to punch them right in the fucking face.  Those men and women did not sacrifice anything.  They fucking DIED.  They gave their lives.  They had their head blown off, stepped on a land mine, got hit with a grenade, or caught a hunk of shrapnel just so the news creating asshats could sit in those comfy chairs and sugar coat the reality.  To hear someone use that term just so they can soften the fact that someone died, to use that term because it makes them feel better about someone else giving their life, fuck them.  Right, wrong, justified, or unjustified, they fucking died, they did not 'make the ultimate sacrifice'.  So to all those so called reporters out there fuck you and fuck you and fuck you.

Yesterday I saw an able-bodied 20something guy, who was part of a bunch of young people tourists on the Mall riding Segways, crash his Segway into the curb. The Segway tipped over and the guy landed hard on the ground. I laughed. Hard.
