I wasn't a huge fan of the panel segments, but the other stuff was pretty good.

I very much enjoyed much of The Nightly Show and actually preferred his panel segments. I felt the skits to be too absurd, cliched and lazy. I enjoyed Larry's nerdcore dad-like delivery and take on the topics of the day. I vote to bring back Tough Crowd, though without Patrice. . . Maybe I'm just a sucker for panels.

it was cancelled because his viewership was low. he didn't have the numbers to stay alive.  social media is one way of getting eyeballs, but not the only way.  unfortunately wilmore didn't have social media on his side nor those other ways…

It was cancelled, because he sucks big gay dick as a humorist.  The WHCD, proved that.

Also, he thinks everything is about race.  Boring, and tired.

This is what really turned me off about that show. They also had a lot more "funny" people and personalities vs actual intellectual people and whenever the panel had someone "intellectual" I felt like it boiled down to "Why should we care!?" about shit and it really turned me off. I think John Oliver is doing the best right now. Last Week Tonight is fantastic.

I was dumbfounded. He was so great on TDS, but I guess he's only good for a couple bits here and there. Should have been Wyatt Cenac.

shaun white, the snowboarder guy who once was the darling of this country, has been thrown into negative spotlight, as well as introducing the world to poo porn.  it could be a scam to get money from him, but good lord, I just had to figure out what poo porn was, when I saw it in the story, since I had no clue what the hell that was.  why, did I have, to figure that out.

and speaking of poo.  did anybody see or already discuss, the dog, Roomba, poo story?  wow.

I love that his excuse is not "this is all fake," it's "I sent that to someone else and this girl is lying and hacked their phone to take screenshots and is just pretending like I sent it to her." Sure, perfectly valid defense to scat porn.
