On this day in 1977, The Grateful Dead played a show at Cornell University, known to Deadheads as one of their all-time best concerts. It was an unseasonably warm day- folks clad in t shirts and shorts, frisbees flying pre-show; only to be greeted by a 1/2 foot of snow as they exited the arena…. they're calling for snow in Ithaca tonight as well.
random . . . randomness

I crank that Dancing in the Streets as often as I can.

1 Million Moms . . . which is actually about 1000 Karens on Facebook, wants you to know, that Disney DuckTales is gay, and that is not acceptable.

Happy Birthday, up dawg.

I, don't know about you . . . but in my line of work, we are rocking it. Overwhelming it. People are not slowing down during these times, in my beautiful piece of rural awesomeness. If you know anyone, such as yourself or your friends, who are looking to move out to greener acres with Zsa Zsa, then send them my way. My team will show them the true meaning of living off the grid of overcrowding. I am noticing people from the city are moving our ways due to the covid. Woodstock / Luray / Marshall / Hume / Stephens City / Front Royal / Purcellville / Harrisonburg are the new hot spots for escape housing. You should see the new construction. I've never seen such a market craze like this in a long long while.
Sold!
You had me at “escape”…
Now where is my Pina colada?

While in certain cases I can understand it rioting and looting is never acceptable
I hate to see so many of my friends on the left defending it..justifying it and almost delighting in it
I may understand it but I will never defend it or even justify it
There are real people who pay the price..
I remember after Hurricane Andrew my parents where living in Miami and there were people looting neighborhoods and running around with shotguns..terrifying
And when you riot and burn down a neighborhood does anything good result?
It took U Street like 30 years to come back from the riots…Baltimore has spiraled out of control since their riots

I've already forgotten the retired wrestling looking dude's name, but why did it get take from him, his wife, and their new hot nanny?

If the court is about to seize something from someone, they can't just sign it over to someone else for $5 to avoid it getting seized.SIDEHATCH wrote:
