Julian has been getting owned all over this board in late 2014. Here's to hoping he comes out strong in 2015.

How am I getting owned? I'm in a great mood and have been extremely conciliatory with everyone of late. People are trying to start arguments and I'm agreeing with them left and right today.
Can't lose if you don't fight, my brother.

I think you do not understand the word random. Random draws from everything possible, however improbable.
Like this list: Mustard, Beets, 23481hjnnaov9, -901maschizno.
Even that's not quite random, but you get the idea. If this were called "Miscellany - not otherwise categorized", then you would be correct in drawing our attention to a more relevant thread.
Ooh, meta-randomness! :o

Anyone headed to the Winter Classic?
My Dad called me last night and really wants to go. I'm iffy on it. Went to it at the Big House which was one of the most amazing sports events of my life, not sure another one would touch it.
Are tickets even possible to get at this point? What would we be looking at pricewise?
Also, we have a hockey thread on the first page. Not random at all!
I must have missed the hockey thread, I remember the Caps one floating around but I didn't want to bump it.
Also, standing room tickets were at 197 yesterday on StubHub and today they jumped to 350. I was tempted at 200 for Standing Room…
My son is heading to the game. I'll wait until early the day of the game and if the brokers are dumping tickets I'll go.

Heard Nats playoffs tickets were dirt cheap on StubHub day of.
Only thing is that all the tickets are hard copies. So I'm trying to figure out how it works….

After the holidays end, I'm really going to have to ORGANIZE this COMMUNITY into shape. Chaos is reigning on 930.com.

Jesus Christ, where the hell do you live? I thought that stuff was everywhere. Even little rinky dink corner stores by me carry that stuff.

I live in an area that prides itself on being city folk and their influences, reclusive limited. small batches of anything brewed as exciting, are aged in the woods of charm and Americana until we feel like it. plus the people around here dont know shit.

Got a text message around 2am saying the show/party/rave at Echostage got shut down after a kid jumped off the balcony into the crowd. Originally I laughed. I've been to Echostage and would say the balcony is about 15 feet up for so? Figured the kid was trying to crowd surf or something. Jumped onto Facebook and saw some random pictures of a kid on the concrete with blood pouring out of his head. My friend said news vans were there and everyone was escorted out and the kid was in critical condition. From some people I know there, he did a front flip? Didn't go very well and hit the ground. Was trying to find an article online, but can't seem to find anything.
Anyone heard anything else on this?

No, but that's insane.
About a year ago at The Pixies at The National, a kid jumped from the balcony to the main level about 10 feet from me and I was openly stunned at how relatively uninjured he and the people he fell on were.

My Ramesh album via Kickstarter arrived today, it's been a bit of a wait for it….
Now I'm really beginning to worry about the God Help The Girl Kickstarter, they seem to have gone silent on the delivery of the DVDs… :-[
