random . . . randomness

Although the shells one can buy here aren’t quite big enough for my taste..more like appetizer empanadas

My mother always made the best empanadas.. homemade dough cause you couldn’t find shells in those days wherever we happened to be

The other key thing to remember is that there are dozens of different empanadas depending on the country and type…just in Argentina you have dozens that have little in common with dozens in Chile or wherever… it’s really just a stuffed turnover

true, but it's savory.  The meat and bread combo is really the key and of course all the south American ingredients

Hutch, I think it's time to make the dough.  If your mom could do it, you could do it…
not like you have anywhere to be or things to do
could make it an assembly line operation too

I would join said assembly line in exchange for a share of the final product.  Will bring Astrolab.
Guys, please, we have an empanadas thread. Stop gumming this one up.
Preach, gurrrrl, preach.
I know nothing about empanada dough, but is there a reason it takes so long to make?

The life partner and I have really gotten into pasta making over the pandemic and really perfected a few recipes… Additionally, have done pizza dough that I'm assuming is somewhat similar to empanada dough?

Does anyone want to make a cooking thread?
I would definitely consider starting a cooking thread but my life partner does all the cooking and I just sit and watch. It makes a perfect relationship, for me. And then I have to clean the entire kitchen and all dishes. Which makes it a perfect relationship, for my life partner.

Thanks!  Because The Brand said “A ginger like you!” even though she never knew me as a ginger….

I am looking forward to people posting their vaccine card online . . . to people posting their ticket stubs online and bragging to everybody how they are at a concert or got to go to a concert and you didn't.

Normal America remains playing catch-up to Julian's America.

Do we not all have setlist.fm accounts?
I know never read the comments, but seeing people lose their stuffing over Costco no longer carrying  a reportedly crappy pillow under a post about Apple products on sale was highly amusing
I tried to find what you're talking about, but wound up in a rabbit hole that ended with something called "popcorn salad" :(
