Just curious- has this scenario ever occured? Someone who's appearing as the music guest on SNL (Maggie Rogers) was simultaneously booked for the 9:30 and not a much larger venue? And, I might add, did not sell out immediately.
I remember that just a few days after Andrew WK was the third band on a Black Cat bill (headliner: Lostprophets), he was the musical guest on SNL

Luna November 7 at 2:54 PM ·
Lee Wall is selling his early 1960’s Gretsch drum kit:
14x22 bass drum
16x16 floor tom
9x13 rack tom
5x14 wood snare
Excellent condition. Round badges. Rare Starlight Sparkle finish was offered from about 1959-1962.
The 6 ply Jasper shells, silver interiors and absence of paper tags most likely date the drums to 1961.
This kit can be heard on the Luna album, “A Sentimental Education” and was played at various live shows from 2015-2018.
Floor tom legs, bass drum spurs and three new padded gig bags for the kick and toms included. No other hardware, cases or cymbals shown in the photos included.
Email LWGretschDrums@gmail.com for more information.
$2,500 + shipping
Local pickup in Austin, TX available.

Since we're on the ODB kick, here's Wu-Tang with YDB on Good Morning america this morning.

It's even better when the door motion is reversed (pull in, push out). Best I've seen was at a crab house: separate push in and push out doors and hands-free everything (because you really want to wash your hands
before you handle yourself, as well as after).

So I usually catch Dark Star Orchestra in Jim Thorpe, Pa on Thanksgiving eve. Skipped it this year however. So glad I did. It appears that the "local authorities" cut the show short by half an hour because a fentanyl laced vape pen made it's way thru the crowd…. Stay safe my friends!

Cool article on UC Berkeley's Ticket Lady (And my housemate at UMD!)

Nice technique…I'll have to use this one
“So, I asked him who he’d arranged this with. Was it with Prince himself?” Baqir says, working with a memory that still brings a smile to her face. “He said `Well, I psychically arranged this with Prince. I’ve been communicating with him psychically. And he told me to come to this concert, and that my name would be on his guest list.’well not for a prince concert…maybe it will work with Mick Jagger?
