surly doesn't distribute to DC… does it?
Negative, but I get it shipped to me. ;D
jerk.
last month, conn liquors in dupont had surly in. wasn't terribly priced, either. that was pretty cool, maybe they get more.
I popped into conn liquors for the first time in a year two weeks ago and he said they no longer get Pliny (which was over priced in there anyway), but I was going to buy a bottle that evening if they had it.

Pffffffffffft…. I'd maybe pay half that. The last time I bought Pliny at Conn Liquors was last summer and I think it was $11.99

Who's going to the Shirlington Beer Fest? That's where I'm spending my birthday weekend at.

Had half of a Westvleteren 8 last night. Soooo good. Now the anticipation builds until I crack the Westy 12.

I'm not a fan of the style, nor am I really a fan of Bell's, but this went very well with the sweet potato chili I made last night.

So, uh, at the risk of getting stuff thrown at me for this beer being lame (as though all beer isn't lame white-trash crap by default ::)), I need to know if Founders Coffee Stout is available yet.

Look for it in October. I know I will be. It's definitely not lame.
What is lame is that Founders announced they were moving it from four packs to six packs and keeping it at the same price. Then months later they announced they had changed their minds on that decision.

nothing from Founders is lame. i'm not the biggest fan of the All Day IPA, but everything else in their line-up varies from solid to superlative.
FYI, their coffee stout is called "Breakfast Stout" (made with coffee and oatmeal… and chocolate).
even when it comes to lowly beer, you have impeccable taste.

Not my picture.
I did tilt the glass and didn't get any head last night.
Maybe I should have shared the glass instead.

I totally set you guys up with that joke. Hell, I practically gave you the punchline. And that's the best you can do? Talk about lame. You probably both watch the New Girl and drink Hello Kitty Beer.
