I have no idea what space's daughter looks like…but I'm sure she has made that exact same glare at a brewery

She says "no."

It is quite possible that she once sat in that very chair.

Massive Triple Crossing drop at the best beer store in the DMV region this Friday, approximately eight cans and one bottle.

How do you like Triple Crossing's IPA's compared to The Veil's? If you work for Paste Magazine, I already know your answer.

I've been to both Triple Crossing locations and had a couple of their beers here in DC, but I've paid way more attention to the Veil and only had cans by the Veil. I'm not sure if that's because the Veil does more hype and I follow it, or if they're actually better.

Edit: I once brought home a four pack of a Berliner from TC, but never any IPA's.

TBH, it's been a long time since I've had a Veil IPA that's blown my mind. I took a big step back from chasing every single IPA in 2019 as let's be honest, they all taste pretty similar. I have no interest in triples which seem to be a lot of Veil beers (and aslin).

All of the ipa's I have had from TC have been above average or really good.

Yeah, 6-8% is my IPA sweet spot. I've never been a fan of the TIPA. We make it to Richmond once or twice a year, so not much Veil here either.
NRGs taplist in NYC is pretty amazing. I can only imagine the space ratio being completely blown out of the water up there.

To be fair, NY as a state basically rips food from Space’s kid’s mouth. I imagine he melts if he gets too close to the state line by accident.

I'm not sure what your joke is, but in reality whenever I go back to my home state, I get free home cooked meals.

And yes, nice tap list. Good to see Colonel Engert fleecing the city slickers in his home state.

is there a reason you always have to be so cryptic
like just name the bar or put in a link

I'm not Yada but I can say that sometimes I've held back on posting info on the internet if I wanted to keep it a secret.  But I don't think there's a need to keep the name of a new beer bar in NYC with a great taplist secret from a half dozen middle aged men in the DMV.

thanks…I did a bunch of searches on NRG bar NYC and articles about NRG and even the NRG website and there was no info
that is a pretty impressive tap list

I know it's sad…but I get most of my Beer related info here, I have no interest in these other sites forums
Like for a while, I only got my news from the Daily Show :)

Now NRG is opening a new place called the Roost in SE that looks too be cool

Settle down Francis.
I'm also concerned this location will take priority over DC and great kegs like Hill Farmstead will no longer make it this far south.

I think you meant this

which I respond to with
Here's one that gets the Space Ratio seal of approval…

BCBS Vanillla, $14 for a 32 oz growler fill or $20 for 64 oz…at H St WF.

Compare that to the 16.9 oz bottles for $25-$30.

They also have regular 2018 BCBS and BCBS Coffee Barleywine for the same price.
Space Math is the new Steiner Math
been on a fall beer kick, lots of stouts and winter warmers.  elysian has a special release out now called Cyclops Barrel-Aged Barleywine.  it's been a while since i last had a BBA'ed barleywine… gawd this is good.  this beer isn't going to work for everyone but the missus and i are mainlining this stuff… at 15% abv, it can do some damage ;D  first elysian beer i've bought in over a year.
