Love that stuff. Why it doesn't get more love is beyond me.
(it probably does and I'm not paying attention)
Wish it came in 6 packs. I'm tired of buying bombers.

Being in the 100th percentile on ratebeer doesn't mean you got a "perfect score", it just means you beat out 99.5% of other beers rated.
;)
Great beer. On tap right now at Whole Foods $4 for a 12 oz draft (as is Stone Ruination, which also has a 100 on ratebeer). Might have to go for lunch tomorrow~
Heading after work to Total Wine to get a four pack of Founders Double Trouble. Second batch is in.

Stumbled into some of this at Rick's the other night while picking up the Better Half. Have you had it before? It was a bit of an impulse buy at the counter.

My friend overheard the WF beer guy call it "the thinking man's Hopslam".
Yes, very good. Maybe in my top 10 imperial ipa's. Have not had the 2012 version yet.
Haven't had a Founders beer yet that wasn't at least "very good".

Right…that's why I didn't second guess the buy. Just hadn't read anything about it, and figured you were the best source ;)

definitely their least impressive offering, at least fresh. methinks it needs 6 months to a year to mellow out. i've got a bunch in the basement. ping me in july for an update.

I'll take your extras. ;D
I like the imperial stout over CBS and the regular breakfast stout. Not better than KBS.

2012 is excellent - definitely better than hopslam this year or maybe my tastes are changing

Rick's Facebook page. They announced it and if you're lucky, you can buy over the phone. Love that place.

Broke out the good stuff last night: Three Floyds Dreadnaught and Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast (Bourbon Edition). Held onto the Dreadnaught a little too long as it lost a little bit of its hoppiness. The Mikkeller had a nice, smooth finish.

Perfect Pour says their wholesaler is arranging deliveries and it will be on their floor next week.
It's already out there so I suspect some local shops will have it this week.
