Are we allowed to talk about hard-booch in this thread?

The Brand has been trying to get me to drink kombucha for years for my gut, but I have been ignoring the request.  She brought home some Kombucha with alcohol so of course I'll give that a shot.

Turns out it's pretty good.  I mean, I only drink one a day, but I feel like my craps are better.

fucking california hippies

Kinda wanted to see what Yada said

good Kombucha typically has alcohol
In CA they made this big deal about kids and you now have to show id to get the Booch with an ABV

if it's good for your gut…it's good for you

This isn't just regular kombucha - they've upped the anti to a point that peaked my interest.  4.8% to 8% per 12 oz can….
I have no opinions nor have I ever tasted kombucha…

I do support good dumps though.

but I'm sure as hell not shipping beer 3k miles to get cloud burst hazy cans.

agreed, hazies don't travel well - hence the "don't trade" request on the can.  we've come full circle.
Riveting stuff today…
Space, our Governor announced today:

On June 15, California will fully open its economy if two criteria are met:

- If vaccine supply is sufficient for Californians 16 years and older who wish to be inoculated; and
- If hospitalization rates are stable and low

Pretty good chance on both of those.  Masks will still be required in some situations.

Thanks Vansmack. That's indeed good news. Keep up the good work California!

I'm sure they are respectable, but is anybody clamoring for a Cloudburst trade? Yada? Brennser?

No
On this day in 1933, prohibition on the sale of beer was repealed in the United States. That’s why every year on April 7th, America raises a glass to celebrate it’s favorite alcoholic beverage.

As part of National Beer Day, Boston’s Sam Adams announced that they are giving away a free beer with proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Below is a list of all the different Montgomery County breweries you can grab a pint at as part of the celebration.

Astro Lab Brewing: Silver Spring
Brookeville Beer Farm: Brookeville
Denizen’s Brewing Company Silver Spring
Elder Pine Brewing and Blending Co. Gaithersburg
Lone Oak Farm Brewing Co. Olney
Saints Row Brewing: Rockville
7 Locks Brewing: Rockville
Silver Branch Brewing Company Silver Spring
True Respite Brewing Company Rockville
Waredaca Brewing Company Gaithersburg

Is there a list for Fairfax County?

Ironically, I serve wine with dinner maybe once every two weeks, and tonight is a wine night.

I actually copied/pasted verbatim off the Moco FB page.

Well I know for sure that Brew Belly has 1/2 price drafts today.  Doesn't include crowlers tho.
Had a case of Suarez cans shipped to me that ended up leaking/one can was broke…

Suarez followed up, apologized, and even after I said it wasn't necessary sent me another half case of beer, free of charge.

Now that is what you call good customer service.

I'll be by around 6:30 to pick up my 4-pack, thanks!
Sapwood is offering a brett horizontal tasting. Cool opportunity to learn about a few things this"wild yeast" can do:

"Today we're tapping six new beers… sort of, and the Chicken Box Truck will be here! Since October we've had six kegs of our Belgian Single getting funky with different strains/blends of the wild microbe Brettanomyces (Brett) from White Labs and Omega Yeast. We'll have all of them on tap today-only if you're interested in side-by-side tasting the range of earthy, pineapple, hay, and mango aromatics created by time and fermentation! Fun if you are a homebrewer interested in brewing with Brett, or just as a beer drinker interested in expanding your palate!

Brett is a big part of our barrel-aged sour beer program, but it doesn't create the sourness. All six Brett Trials are dry with snappy carbonation, but from there they have diverged considerably."

TAN: i've only had one root canal in my life, and frankly it was a life-saver.  whatever i had going on inside my tooth was by far the most painful thing i had ever experienced.  ever.  i was a wreck for days.  i was told i needed a root canal but the very words scared me so i avoided it but eventually the pain forced me into the dentist's chair.  the second that the dentist got to the center of my tooth and relieved the pressure was one of the most blissful moments ever.  i was hopped up on major painkillers so between the buzz and the instant pain relief, the overall experience of my root canal was positive for me.  i'm fully aware of how abnormal my assessment is.
lol, my stomach hurts
