The Beer Thread

Saw a bald guy with a wife and two young daughters at Aslin Sunday. Thought maybe it was Sidehatch. Oh yeah, the beer was great.

Also hit the Firestone Walker event at Paradiso. Awesome.

Also just scored a bottle of 2016 Sucaba. Almost got a second one, but i had to go pick up my sick kid and skip the beer store.

Enough to raise an eyebrow, Thursday night at Gillys:

Custom Gilly's Firkin
Heavy Seas Loose Cannon IPA Firkin'd with Citra and Equinox hops, White Oak chips, dried grapefruit, vanilla, and a blend of tropical fruits!

plus a dual tap takeover from Maine Beer Company and Heavy Seas.

(Kick the keg specials tonight)

I'm sure the prices will raise an eyebrow too
if i was in the hood i'd definitely go check that out.
Bottles on the black market apparently can sell for as much as $1,000.
so craft beer needs to be sold on the black market?!?

I know there are many here that are pro-scapling, I assume the same goes for beer

I'm assuming you meant, "anti" scalping?

no I've been "attacked" here for complaining about scalping
it's a capitalist society and supply and demand makes it ok to sell nosebleed seats for $400
not all for sure, but there are many here who think that's ok
I have no problem with people scalping.
every time, I think of scalpers, my mind always goes to that one character from fast times at ridgemont high.

I was not aware of this… I thought this was an anti scalping crowd. I've only over paid for tickets twice in my life, I usually take advantage of scalpers so I encourage their business.

I  applaud your tactics and relish in your stories of sticking it to them

I would likely do it, and i would not buy tickets at that price. But I think it's ok if others choose to do it. I feel the same way about abortion too, btw.

How does my being ok with others doing it  mean that I'm attacking you?
I think it is fair to say, that people always think you are attacking them.  ;D
Space…hate to break it to you…you can't have an abortion
also I put attacking in quotes…emphasizing the hyperbole
