Big long article on Aslin here. They get into their current state of affairs toward the end of the article.

I noticed yesterday on social media they were doing "upgrades" at their current location… seems like a waste of time and energy to do upgrades only to move in the very near future.
note: I have not read that article above just yet, so maybe the reasoning is mentioned in there.

Seems the tune changes daily. I think I'm done with Aslin until they either start canning decently priced four or six packs, and/or have a nicer taproom to hang out in and drink a pint.

My only experience with Aslin was their clusterf*ck of a bottle release a few weeks ago. Given how much of a schlep it is from my house, I'm waiting until they actually figure out wtf they're doing till I head back down there.

'This Friday (today), Jailbreak will serve up $5 pints of its latest brew, Ephemeral Volume I. This New England-inspired IPA boasts a medley of tropical fruit, peach, tangerine, and subtle hints of dark pine that is sure to be the winter favorite of hoppy beer lovers.'

here's the best story that i've found on the Aslin move:
http://www.dcbeer.com/news/aslin-announces-move-herndon-installs-new-brewhouse. sounds like the city told them one thing, but the fire marshall has different ideas - and his rules override the city's.
their production should be increased by now thanks to a new brewhouse, so Space: soon it should be easier to get their stuff?

Nice. I read about that this morning. Interesting concept. Not at all interested in a machine that dispenses their products, tho.

absolutely awful. there is no way you can concentrate & dry beer, then reconstitute it; or worse yet engineer it chemically from scratch, and have it taste good. then again they're targeting AB InBev beer drinkers who are used to drinking tasteless beer, so who knows maybe this will work…

Well that sucks. One of my favorites.
https://www.facebook.com/firestone.walker/From their Facebook page:
Sucaba is taking a "Sucabbatical" this year (see what we did there?!) so we will not be releasing a 2017 vintage. Gasp! But fear not, all FW locations currently have the 2016 vintage available so come by & stock up on this English barleywine while it lasts.
PS New vintage beer coming Feb. 4th! More details coming soon… maybe.

SWEET. enjoy.
it's one of my all-time favs. for about 8 months i flew to dallas every week for work. always stayed in the same marriott. for beer they had crap, crap light, crap ultra… and duvel. drank the hell outta that golden belgian elixir, and brought home every bottle in my luggage - they are made of thick glass so perfect for bottling highly carbonated homebrew. i still have 80-100 of those bottles. the end.

I don't have 100 empty Duvel bottles but I'm going to guess this was some sort of comment on Duvel owning Firestone Walker???

I think that's in the works with nothing released yet. I could be wrong.
in addition to working at the Alchemist and Hill Farmstead, the brewer also interned at Cantillon.
