$1.67 an ounce… HOLY SPACE TO OUNCE RATIO BATMAN.
I think its a decent deal actually, although interesting/amusing to see signs of Aslin backlash stirring on BA over the pricing.
Sunglasses aside (WTF?) I think you'd be hard pressed based on the prices I've seen at Churchkey lately to get 15 5oz pours a t-shirt and a glass for less than 100 bucks
Also…..15 5oz pours? I think people are gonnna be shitfaced

Aslin is pretty small, I can't really picture 100 people comfortably fitting in there.

While I'm no fanboy of Churchkey, it is in a hip part of DC and is swanky enough that you might want to take a date there. Whereas Aslin is in a strip mall in Herndon, and only a wife who really, really loves beer would get excited to set foot in the place. For Churchkey, to some extent, you're paying for the overall experience including the beer whereas for Aslin you're paying for the beer and the beer only.

$200 to take my beer-loving wife on a date there "for the beer and the beer only" is a rip. Even after offsetting the price of a shirt, glass and plastic sunglasses. Last time we were there we spent $175 which included 2 hours of drinking and 8 crowlers.
75 ounces of 7% and above beer also makes the hike back to MoCo a bit of a hassle.

So who knew that Racer 5, Torpedo, Two Hearted and Dogfish 60 (Really???) are still among the 11 best IPA's? Well I guess now we do.

Made it out to Waredeca and I have to say, one of the best DMV breweries as far as 'place to enjoy whilst drinking a beer'
I thought the Coffee Stout, the Session Pale Ale and their Peach Gose were all scrumptious

Nice… I'm heading there this weekend and have heard it's a nice place to hang out. I've had that stout and thought it was above average.

Is there anything else to do in that area? Sounds like a good time, but can't see myself driving 40+ miles *just* to go there.

Finally a beer joint I can skateboard to (and have)!
Both BBF and Wardeca are nice spots and draw crowds. Beers are hit or miss. Both places have an above average stout and IPA.
