The Beer Thread

May want to rethink that. If forced to drink beer, I go: do you have anything by Founders, if not, do you have anything by Bell's, if not, do you have an apple cider, if not, I will take a Blue Moon please.

"Hello Kitty Beer Gets Plenty of Buzz"

Yeah, but with that abv it no doubt gives very little buzz.

I totally set you guys up with that joke. Hell, I practically gave you the punchline. And that's the best you can do? Talk about lame. You probably both watch the New Girl and drink Hello Kitty Beer.

Why? I don't drink Founder or Bells.  Actually I haven't had anything but German Beer for months.
My six year old refuses to drink soda or beer. What  a disappointment.

Firestone Walker Double DBA is out. $15/bottle. Is it worth twice the price of Stone Double Bastard, which comes out at the end of October?

I realize these beers are exactly comparable.
I'm assuming you're still a Richmond person (?)

Have you had the pleasure of drinking anything by Hardywood?

Anyone have Lagunitas DayTime yet? Terrific session IPA and makes for a great lawnmower/football-watching beer. I think it's a touch above Founders All Day, but they're both good IMO.
very good beer.

I had a sip of their Hardywood Singel or Single or whatever its called. It's all over the place here and they're embroiled in some weird meal tax controversy regarding beers sold at their brewery. Again, though, I drink maybe 36oz of beer in a year, so not the person to ask.

I actually just assisted with pouring Hardywood at a fashion pop up shop over the weekend.

That guy in mandals and cargo shorts looks like a great Richmond specimen of fashion.
I was thinking about this.
I have never met either of them, but…

When I think of Julian (and I often do), I picture a Banana Republic employee.
When I think of atomic (and I often do), I picture a Trader Joe's employee.

You ever seen those SNL skits with Stefan on Weekend Update where he gives visitors to NYC the most inappropriate recommendations ever and they're always to some sort of LGBTIQ bondage nightclub filled with "teddy graham people" and "42 beardless Santa Clauses"? I always envisioned you working in one of those.
