This thread, still makes me feel good.
Currently drinking, Sierra Nevada 2025 Hoptimum triple IPA. This shit, is great for a "Sierra Nevada." 11% oh, my.
I found my favorite Japanese beer, and man this stuff kicks so much ass all around the world: Hitachino white ale.
$20 for 4 at total wine. It was ok, because there was a pizza by the slice place next door, which always makes everything feel appreciative.
Yeah, I got a buzz on for a Thursday.

You go man!
I think 11% would make me ill!!
One time I drank 2-3 10%ers and ended up throwing up in a parking lot….this was like 11 years ago…can’t imagine I would do better now

Billionaire who promised to save SF's historic Anchor Brewing has gone radio silent
More than a year after the sale to Chobani's Hamdi Ulukaya, it's unclear what's going on with America's oldest craft brewery
Anyone try the Tropical Hopslam?

I'd rather have that over a miller lite bud light or Michelob ultra light
Starting to taste better now that on my third 16 ouncer
I write to you from Ashburn, enjoying a draft pour of BA Abraxas. Ticking off another whale.
Well, at least we still have Santana’s Abraxas.
ok, sure, but it's only time-aged. how pedestrian.

i HATE the expression "beer flavored beer". in the past it's been used by patronizing beer snobs to look down on any style that isn't over 100 years old. it's a bunch of old men complaining about "those new fangled fruity hops", "improperly brewed beer that isn't clear", etc. dinosaurs dismissing anything innovative, saying "none of that weird barrel-aged stuff for me, i only drink beer-flavored beer."

I thoroughly agree with all of this.
There's room for in my life for a pastry stout or fruited sour from Mortalis along side a pilsner from Suarez. Maybe not all at once, but in the course of a week.
