Speaking of Richmond and beer, I'll be at Mekong for lunch and Hardywood for dinner on Friday.
Hardywood does food?

Oh, I did know they did the food truck thing. The Boca taco thing is raved about. They've opened two hyped restaurants in addition to the taco truck. They're probably a good bet. Goatacado is another good RVA food truck, I can attest to personally. Have fun.
Went to an eastr dinner at the in-laws.  Their pastor showed up with Three Philosophers :) :) :)

speaking of IPAs… i just got a sad phone call from the guys over at yakima valley hops, who informed me that my order of a fuckton of citra hops and hopshots was mixed up and sent to the wrong person. and presumably, i'm going to get some clowns order of a bunch pussy hops like williamette and fugles.  was hoping to get all my hops so i could brew an all citra IPA this weekend.

i (and possibly only i) feel your pain.

they accidentally sent me a pro-brewers package.

brewed an IPA with centinnial, sorachi ace, and a fuck ton of azacca hops.

i'm in hop heaven.

this is a serious issue.  the new FDA regulation is going to turn a mutually beneficial relationship into a lose-lose proposition.  this is intervening where there is no problem.  frustrating.

Murica.
Yeah, that's not crass opportunism or anything.
Yeah, I know people were up there last year, enjoyed this beer and the pint glass and ran the marathon.  They've got no beef, so I'm not sure why you're throwing stones from your mother's basement.

We keep the computer in the living room which is on the GROUND FLOOR.
interesting: that 26.2 beer is a gose, according to http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/35/80190/. ; wow.  is samual adams morphing into dogfish head?
Had a couple of bottles of Fox Barell Pacific Pear Cider.  It was ok.  I guess it would be good outside on a warm summer day as a cool refreshing beverage.

How many of you would go to this beer festival (note, link is safe for work)?

Not me. I am guessing it will be mostly dudes there.  I hate seeing nude guys at the gym.  I don't want to see them while I am enjoying a beer.
How about a nude wine fest? Probably still mostly naked guys and their fat wives, based on my own experiences with nude beaches.

How many "nude" beaches have you been to? I haven't been to any really, but many topless beaches in Europe or maybe that's just the norm… but the women there were neither fat nor ugly…
One in New Jersey, one in Vancouver, a couple in California, one in France, and one in Spain. I might be forgetting some. All before having a kid.

Yes, the topless beaches have much better eye candy than the full nudity beaches.

Christ… why on earth would you go to the US nude beaches? No wonder you saw some nasty danglers.
