went to a wedding this past weekend where 3 Stars' Peppercorn Saison was the biere-du-jour. most of 3 Stars standard offerings don't do a whole lot for me, so i haven't bothered to taste this one beforehand, but gawdam if that isn't one tasty beer.
if anyone is a fan of Perrenial Abraxis, and is willing to travel,
growlers will be available this saturday in Gaithursburg.
anyone try Lagunitas Waldo yet?

decided to get 1 beer and grabbed this one…not fully reading the label

I like the taste, but the alcohol bite is a little much
Halfway through a pint (got the bomber) and feeling pretty buzzed with it's 13% ABV

Yeah, the Molotov Cocktail is a bit much. They make a Molotov Lite, which is 8% abv and better, imo.

molotov cocktail, at least the last time i had it several months ago, is incredibly sweet. perfect example of "alcohol sweetness". i think it's ok for a half-pour, the missus could mainline the stuff.

one bomber is like Five 4.25 ABV beers
I did like it, but just too much bite for me and a little much for one sitting

great lineup of breweries, but until we know exactly what beers are being brought i'd hold off on the superlatives. if everyone on that list brings their flagships: meh (sure, you have hill farmstead and jester king which can't go wrong, but otherwise…)
