speaking of VT: i'll be there next week. i'll have a case of Heady and "some" (a case?) of Sip of Sunshine waiting for me there. in addition i might hit up the Alchemist and Lost Nation on my own, TBD.
in preparation/as penance i'll be going beer-free this week. wish me luck.
Assuming you're in close proximity, you should scoop up some Focal Banger and Crusher at the brewery.

that will depend on whether or not i make it out to the brewery. it's about an 1:15-1:30 drive to get there, so this extended beer run would result in abandoning the family for a whole afternoon… hence, the TBD ;D
the case of heady and the sunshine will be waiting for me, so even if i don't make it to the brewery i'll be having a taste.

I do not get the lengths of trouble people go to just to drink a beer…

Another reliably good brewery turns to the dark side

it's the way they went about it that really sucks: not saying anything, hoping the noise would go away… not only going to the dark side, but going dark. it's cynical and sad.
terrapin is good, but not great, beer. i've bought some in the past when it was the best thing available in a supermarket. but i can't think of any terrapin beer that i seek out, pick up every time i see it, etc.

FFS what the hell is wrong with people. This is the american dream. Build a business based on your passion, do it for a couple of years, sell for a billion dollars. Who here wouldn't do this?

Yeah, this. When someone here turns down an 8-digit payday to make beer, they can start talking about "the dark side" or whatever.

Had Ocelot / Bluejacket Raised On Promises from a growler (arlbrew) and really enjoyed it
but as IPADAY approaches, I'm less and less excited by IPA's
How much of a beating can my tongue take
