yup, wow. never heard of this place, yet all of a sudden i'm contemplating getting home late tonight…
opening night is Friday…so hope you didn't go tonight
i didn't even think to check that… i assumed that i'm just out of the loop and that this place has been around for some time now. in the end i didn't end up going. went home and crushed a Big Bad Baptist instead (tasty but too much coffee).
I really hate to say this out loud, but space was right
although I can only imagine it's insanely packed
Funny this place just came out of no where, you'd think with all the Engert fans it would have had a lot more hype before opening
For all these hard to find Belgian drafts, the pricing is not crazy
but what they don't say is 2oz pours :)

What are you afraid to say I was right about?
It seems like there are as many Engert haters as there as Engert "fans". I mean, who's going to admit to being a fan of a grown man in his 30's who looks like this?
Perhaps I am just bitter because Churchkey has no happy hour pricing, and Meridian Pint, Smoke and Barrel, and Pizza Paradiso all do.

Eh, that probably just means you've got more interesting/important things going on in your life than knowing the opening date of a bar in Georgetown. Whereas, sadly, I knew the date, even though I had no intention of being there.

Just another location from the Flowbee king of overpriced beer and flat-out-douchebaggery. Seriously folks, I don't know why people keep paying for this guys's marked-up offerings. Bring em in - bend em over - send em home drunk and broke.

James Ford *wishes* he could take credit for that post. "Flowvee king"? That is classic.
I found another picture of him online in my local piddly little upstate New York newspaper that i grew up reading. He was going back home speaking at a local brewfest. It's so awesome I grew up only 35 miles away from the Flowvee king.

TBH, I don't get that reference.
EDIT: Googled it. It appears to be a misspelling of some sort of "cut your own hair" product?
