The Beer Thread

Facing down the storm with a 32 oz growler of Founders Sweet Repute. I think we're ready!
Deal of the weekend.

$14 bombers of 2012 BCCS at Smith Commons because they thought it was old.

Is that a different beer than BCBS? 64 oz growler?

I don't think I understand your question?

Bomber = large bottle
BCCS = coffee
Oops, I was focused on growlers. My bad. Whole Foods had 32 oz of Regular BCBS for $14, which was a pretty good deal too.

The 12 oz bottles of 2013 were around $6, so is $14 for a bomber really that good? But yes, that's  indeed a discount on what most places charged for a 2012 bottle.

And I think you're missing a "B" somewhere. Wouldn't it be BCBCS?  ;)

I suppose I'm missing a B… however, I've never seen a 12oz bottle of coffee, only bombers which last year were around $22, at least where I purchased them and around $28 to $30 in restaurants/bars.

So to have it for $14, I consider it a good deal.
Ah, I see.

I got a bomber of Coffee for $12 last year. I remember it being mispriced, now I know by how much!

They had at least two when we were there as he went upstairs because he thought we both wanted a bottle. If we didn't have somewhere to be, we would've drank both… but as of Saturday at 10pm, they had at least a bottle left.

Jimmy, have you seen Jai Alai yet in the DMV area?
If by Jimmy, you mean James, and not Jim James…

It came to NoVA, but not MD or DC.

Why do you purchase beer when you're not drinking?

i havent purchased beer in those three months, either.  why would i do that?  i drink water now as my only liquid intake.  makes a world of a difference, in reality.
