I picture hutch in his cat in hat hat acting like he's writing down a setlist but actually keeping track of the number of drinks sidehutch has purchased him throughout the evening.

pretty lulzy brah.

when it happens time after time you begin to notice……so when someone jokes about needing better friends you might chime in..

generally i'm a good guy about buying drinks.. i believe i offered to get you one but you said you didn't want one?

but i am not a good bar tipper… i mean i can be cold…it ain't automatic.. i've even been known to have a problem with a bartender here or there…

now if its the blonde bartender at the 930…. i hope she's still there…been a while since i seen her…there are no problems

at the end of the day i am incredibly self-aware.. of what i do and the people around me do.. most people i daresay walk through life in a relative haze.. i don't need to take notes..it just goes in my brain and i do keep scores… fortunately, sidehatch has been one of the best friends i've ever had so like i said I don't really give a shit….he's come through for me dozens of times in ways bigger than people would imagine…

I'm just giving you a hard time…

Jez, way to turn the beer thread in to a…not sure what transpired
but you get the point

So I did want to address some of your accusations
hutch wrote:

even shows i've gotten you a free ticket for…

I'm fairly certain the ones you did, the first thing I did was offer you one when we got there.
Probably should have bought you 2 or three on a night like that

hutch wrote:
.the ticket dynamic regarding the Specials is what clinched it for me…lets remember i got you a free ticket and paid for mine..

I was not involved in that in the slightest and would have certainly paid for that
you didn't really explain what had happened, so I didn't know until after the show
you told me you had a connection that would get you and me a free ticket.  The paying for one didn't even come up until the end of the night
I guess the proper thing to do would have been to paid you at that point…but I didn't and hence the public shaming

hutch wrote:
i always get the first drink.. then you buy me one back.. then i buy the third.. sometimes then i buy myself a fourth.

so this has happened and typically I drive to shows now….so third and 4th beers are not an option
But I'll usually have the third beer you offered, problem is I'm not getting another beer
I guess in this scenario, I should just buy you one

now I know, and knowing is half the battle

but caring is all of the battle… and none of us do.

aka "Breakfast"
Ran out to Total Wine and More at lunch and found 6 packs of Bell's White Winter Ale for only $5.99 which is a pretty good price considering the beer is from Michigan and indiscernible from Oberon which is currently unavailable.

Picked up 5 for a get together this weekend.

Sorry for the ambiguous language: I picked up 5 6-packs.

Where did you pick up the New Glarus?  They don't distribute outside of Wisconsin.

And the verdicts are?…
If you can, get a 6 of the Zeke's Coffee Porter by Brewer's Art. One of the best beers I've had in a while! In stores now!
they now have these at the club
had one last night…didn't love it though

Kind of a heavy beer out of a can, should be in a tulip glass or something

Beer trade. I was quite disappointed in my first Toppling Goliath beer, was hoping for much more.

I enjoyed the Stone, but the Knee Deep was awesome.
