Thank you thank you thank you for Them Crooked Vultures. This will be one of the best shows of the year, no doubt. I just hope I can score a ticket!

Yes again thank you.  I hope like hell I get a pair of tix.  Would suck to be the first one to request them here in this thread and get shut out ya know!  I'll be here Saturday with all four of my computers clicking away…
seth,

let us curate a stage at v-fest next year  ;D

thanks!
I didn't go to V-fest.  Can't do those all day things any more.  They kick my ass too badly.  All that aside, Seth that really was a pretty cool thing to pull off by making the event a freebie.  I've found out that when I give stuff away it tends to come back to me many times over at some point.  I hope this holds true for you as well especially n this case.

How about just developing a pot food menu for forumers only?

excellent idea… something like in-n-out burger, where you have to be "in the know" to order off-menu items.

"i'll have a brownie - monster style, please".

one can dream.  someday, my friends, some day…

Check this out.
Meat Cube says it all, doesn't it?

^Oh, shit.

Yes yes yes yes yes!
Seth / Twangirl: How about Temper Trap in October? Not sure who they are touring w/ while in the States, but there is a Philly / NYC date with five days open in between. Then, they head back to Europe. Please and thanks.

they are not big enough to play the 930…look at the other venues in the tour…
Kung Fu Necktie in Philly holds 100.

I know, and even though I didn't say anything prior, I do realize they are fairly new to the scene and this might be better held at BC or RnR, etc. However, they could tag on with another band or two at a larger venue (that's twangirl's or their booker's job.;)). Also, this is a wishlist and until BC has one I can chime in upon, I'm asking here.
Pixies presale? Anyone? Just curious…
pixies @ DAR now on TM, onsale 9/11: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/15004329A2C66F41

no mention of a presale, looking like there won't be one.  there seems to be a lot of confusion about this.  the band said there would be one, but it hasn't materialized.  maybe in tonight's e-mail blast?

edit: the pixies' twitter page will have info, if/when it's available http://twitter.com/PIXIESmusic
if there is one, it will be tomorrow.

Seth, The Swell Season announced they plan to tour in support of their new album in November. Can you please book them at 930? Another selfish request: please do not book them on 11/2/09 (Bruce), nor 11/11/09
(or 11/10/09; WPA). Thank you in advance.
Seth/twangirl - thank you! Although they are good for DAR, I prefer 930 & curious to see them in the club atmosphere. Thank you again & the date is perfectly aligned!
thanks for getting shooter & brett dennen back. oct is going to be great!
Hey Seth, what happened with the Major Lazer & Crookers show? It's still up on tickets.com but I can't find any other information on it.
I've heard Bon Iver is going to book some mid-late OCT dates. Any chance for the club?
hey seth, since you are my new cuddle muffin ( ;D) for the skinny puppy job . . . and chance of getting front 242 to come out of retirement?
Patti Smith…please?
