I saw Evan solo at the Black Cat many years ago.  He was falling out periodically during the show and by the end, somebody else was holding the mic stand for him because he kept knocking it over.  The trainwreck was worth the cover charge.

I saw Evan open for Courtney Barnett, and it was, awful.
I think I saw him play in Farragut Square solo in the late 1980s?

I saw him at Tower Records in Foggy Bottom circa 1993…he signed my Creator CD…he played a short solo set…very enjoyable

I have been watching some Hives stuff on socialmedias and want to reiterate that if Seth could get The Hives back to DC area, I would attend, and likely bring at least 1 other person, and I would purchase merch and 2 alcoholic beverages.

funny, I was looking them up the other day and lamenting that they weren't coming to DC
their 930 show a few years back was just fantastic (although…wasn't even close to a sell out…could be some of the reason)

Hell, lets make this happen: I will also buy two tickets and help the local economy by drinking across the street at a much cheaper place before the concert. I cannot confirm merch purchases at this time.
