Hey Seth

I know all white people look alike. That's why I understand how you could confuse Dwight Yoakam with Randy Travis.

Hey Seth,

Dwight Yoakam recently released the best country album of the year. How about bringing him back to the club? You could even set up some casino tables in the back to make it seem like one of his regular gigs.

didn't he just get arrested a few times for drunk driving and walking into a 7-11 naked? horrible mug shots.

punked!
Iris Dement's new one is the best country album of the year.
Yes, that is a damn fine album. Completely different than the Yoakam album. Which one is better to me would depend on my mood of the day.

GET A ROOM YOU TWO!!!!!
I'll second the Dwight Yoakum suggestion, his band has one of my favorite Power Pop musicians playing guitar.

thanks for the recommendation, that was a good listen.
titus andronicus tour goes to h st to start there tour, but they seem to tour for 2 years minimum for there albums. perhaps next time they stop into dc, the club?
Has nobody asked for Suicide and Bush Tetras yet?

Would rather not have to trek up to NYC for them.
I thought I put in a bid for Suicide last year when they did MoogFest. I'd love to have them at the club.
Thanks for another fun afternoon of music!
I meant this specific bill. But yeah, I'll take Suicide with anyone. Those guys were both on the older end of the musician spectrum when the first Suicide album came out. They are getting way too old for comfort. If we are going to see them, it will have to be soon.

Midge Ure is touring the US in Jan 2013, the Fri Jan 11 date on his schedule is TBA and I see that Yellowcard that night at the club is an early show…does any of that add up? haha  ;D
seth, toots and the maytals are doing an acoustic tour.. DC deserves this show! make it happen!
I'll third Suicide.
Sounds more like a Falls Church show.

Yeah it does. They have been playing there more often in the last ten years.

I've seen Toots 3 times at the 930 in the past few years… and once at the State…
Placebo recently dropped a new EP.  And the last area show (930) they were supposed to play was cancelled due to illness… I dont know if they will tour but they are one of the last of my favorite bands I have yet to see.
Hey Seth congrats on the 930 being the number one club…again!

No surprise but am sure takes hard work…
