Hey Seth

The venues listed there don't seem to be on par size wise with 9:30 Club.

Nope, the term officially used was "hiatus". In fact, two of the band members play on Rob's new solo album.

Catherine Wheel as we knew them from the past are over. Rob is more like one of the Wheel's cogs.

50 Ft. Monster is another Catherine Wheel off-shoot band but I haven't seen any tours happening for them yet.

Rob's work is kind of to Catherine Wheel as Richard Ashcroft's work compared to The Verve. 50 Ft. Monster is the more rocking side while Rob's is a little more ballady. While I like them both, neither come anywhere close to good old Catherine Wheel.

I was hopeful the other day when I saw Rob working his way east. Hope he plays somewhere either in Baltimore or DC.
Any chance of Editors having a DC show this spring? They're playing Webster Hall in NYC on March 30th and seem to have a big block of dates open after that.
I second this request. [Hearsay Alert] I've heard the Black Cat is trying to book them.

The Editors: Next big wave.

Third that request.

They are too big for Black Cat. They could easily sell-out the 9:30

I agree, especially if you put them on with an opener who might fill up a few holes.

Holy crap! That's awesome! Stellastarr is worth seeing just by themselves. They headlined maybe the best show I saw at the 9:30 Club in 2005.

I'm guessing Stellastarr will headline this show.

Coheed and Cambria, Avenged Sevenfold, and Head Automatica are passing by together in April. A 9:30 Club stop would be killer.
