blah blah blah Belle and Sebastian blah blah blah

update:  what would be really cool is to have an afternoon screening of the "God Help The Girl" film before the concert at Merriweather.
Does an Amon Tobin U St Music Hall late night DJ set on 4/21 mean a live set earlier at 930?
Thanks for the Friends with Benefits .. as my better half said "Who ever heard of a club doing that?"

thanks for making great even better

Was just coming here to say the same thing.  Can we please, please, please get Leonard Cohen.  It would be such a shame if DC got passed over on two different east coast swings.
The Bats will be touring North America at the end of May/early June. USMH, please?
Please do not let this fall into Steve Lambert's clutches. Nearly ruined The Clean for me last year.

And now to go bug Sasha Lord about it on Twitter.
I'd like to throw some support to getting Leonard Cohen and The Sepcials over here as well.
another for leonard

i stupidly skipped the last merriweather show (one of my biggest concert mistakes by far) and i would love to make up for this before its too late

I usually would not say _____ isnt _____ without _____.

BUT, even though Jerry is one of the principle song writers and all, it is NOT Alice in Chains without Layne.

Period.  And as a HUGE AiC fan (my user name (long story) stems from the bands fan club and a clueless uncle circa 1994), I cant believe any other AiC "fan" would want to see them without Layne.

Same with Sublime.

Its ALL Karaoke.

This isnt Smashing Pumpkins we are talking about, with interchangeable members (other than Billy of course, SP IS Billy).

But to each their own.
Someone has to do it.

Kris Kross

I would go for a laugh or eleven.

Pssst….Stone Roses! (that's a no-brainer) and the 1979-lineup of Black Flag (yes, they're actually doing shows). Thanks Seth!
