Hey Seth - I heard a rumor that 9353 is playing at the club at the end of the month. Is that really true?

Hey Seth, I saw you back at the Who show in March at the Verizon center, decent show, huh?
Simon Townshend (Pete's Brother) is playing with them now, and is in a band called the Casbah Club, you should get them at the 930

you be betty would like me to bug you about Rufus Wainwright. He is on tour and it's a pretty tight schedule. Any chance we could see him at the club in the near future?

Seth, I'm bailing on the last day of Lollapalooza to support V Fest. so I'm looking at flights back to the area from Chicago and unfortunately there's nothing that will get me back in time for the whole day Sunday but since there are major price differences ($90 versus $250) between morning, afternoon, and early evening flights I have to weigh the options. I'm leaning toward getting back in time to be at Pimlico by 4-5pm, so without divulging the top secret set times can you comment on how many main stage/2nd stage, etc. acts I'll be able to see if that's the case? Better yet, can you reveal when the set times will be released?

Seth - Underworld is doing a few US dates in September. Any chance for them at Merriweather (I assume 9:30 Club is way too small looking at their other dates)?

Hey Seth, at the same moment bnyced0 is flying to BWI, I'm flying from BWI to Chicago. But because of the jet stream, bnyced0's plane is flying 500 miles per hour. My plane, on the other hand only goes 450 miles per hour because of head winds. Which one of us will be closer to the VFest when they meet?

Hey Seth…
According to an email I stumbled across today, the Beastie Boys are embarking on a tour that includes "two types of shows this summer, 'regular' shows and 'gala events'" and "THE GALA EVENTS will be in smaller spots, more exclusive, more intimate. this will be more like quality time, our time, just you and the band sitting by a fire on a tropical beach late at night being serenaded with love songs. these shows are for people that are into our weird stuff, so if you want to get weird together, this is your call. these shows will be based around the instruments. some songs will have vocals, others will be instrumental. BUT if you'd like to come to one of these shows, then dress to impress, wear a suit, a tie, a dress, a gown or whatever you feel dressed up in… AND PLEASE leave your cargo shorts, birkenstocks and t-shirts at home, this is not that kind of party."
Would we be able to consider the 930 a potential condidate for one of the gala events by chance?

The Gala events are almost ALL INSTRUMENTAL, no rappin. Buddy saw the first one in Seattle, they spoke maybe twice. They're doing this at most of the festivals they're playing in Europe, with one day a normal show the next/day before instrumental. He said it was good though.

And the new instrumental album is a yawnfest that could've been recorded by any generic jamband.

Hey Seth,
Are you ok with women giving birth at Merriweather shows? Are there midwives or obgyn's on call? My 9+ months pregant wife was saying it would be cool to give birth at a Wilco show.
Rhett
PS, Joe: Will I see you at the Joe as Policewoman show?

My wife said that women wanting to give birth at a Wilco show are creepy.
