Hey Seth,
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but the shuttle service from the metro to the festival and back again needs to be much better run than last year.

Any chance of getting The Electric Soft Parade, Seth? I'd love to see them, and their current schedule has them wrapping up their US/Canadian tour in New York in mid-June. It looks like they've got 12 days between then and their next show in the UK. Pretty please? :)

Are you being held in a "rehabilitation" facility, house arrest, are your movements otherwise limited? While for the most part I also like the artists you champion, the whining makes the fanbase look scarier than it actually is. I want to help you out, if you don't have an ankle bracelet and can actually leave a 40 mile radius I'm willing to foot the bill to the concert of your choice (philly, new york, boston, richmond, charlotte, etc) in this timezone as long you promise NOT to ask for the same artist to come to DC more than ONCE every six months, and no female artist or lead vocalist in a band every nine months. This is no-shit offer, it just pains me to see all this repetitiveness in your posts. I can see you're crying out for help.
Amy Winehouse needs to come before the end of 2007! We also need Peaches to come back. I think I may go see Feist so thanks for bringing her. We also need Shirley Manson when she releases her record.

Azaghal, I think you are thinking of a different band. Or maybe I'm the one who is confussed. I may be wrong but I don't think The Electric Soft Parade have been the way before. Are you thinking of that Doors cover band? This isn't them.
Originally posted by SpinalTarp:They had these beautiful commerative tickets for Winter Music Conference this year, and at the gate I thought they'd just pull off the tab of the ticket which was made just for that purpose to keep the pristine ticket intact, but there were two sadistic freaks at the gate just ripping the entire ticket in half and waving people in, I too have been collecting tickets for quite awhile and I was shitting my pants to see these particularly attractive tickets being destroyed, so I balked and they weren't going to let me in so I sulked on the side until someone with a brain showed up and asked what the problem was and the knumbskulls at the gate were reprimanded for not following the directions they were initially given about ripping off the stubs only. Moral of the story? Acting like a baby can work in isolated circumstances for things that really don't have any relevance. I kept my souvenir in that instance and I'm sure VF organizers will do the right thing here. There are so many options, like taking a marker to the back of the ticket so it can't be reused but otherwise kept intact, etc.
Hey Seth,
I just heard I have to surrender my ticket (for a wristband) to come back for the second day. I know I'm being a crybaby, BUT I have all my tix dating back to Johnny Cash in 1970! I wanna keep my ticket. Is this true?
