Yup, another request for Lush. Would be wonderful to see them again.
Would that be a 9:30 show?
My initial thought would be a Black Cat show, but then again, Ride and Slowdive played the club (the latter of which was a sell out), so you never know.

with the turn out for Ride and Slowdive…to me seems like there are enough balding pears in the DC region to support a lush show at the 930
but maybe the Cat?

I think they'd do well at the 9:30. Although a Lush/Slowdive, Lush/Ride, Lush/Curve, Lush/Chapterhouse gig would likely sell REALLY well. Curve is broken up but heck, I'd go see them again. I never got to see Chapterhouse. Love the first LP and all the early EPs.
sounds like a Lush/Ride/Slowdive super show at the DAR !!!

At this point I would take a Curve reunion, or a SPC ECO show (Dean Garcia's band with his daughter Rose).
Curve are probably my favorite of that wave of bands…

I love Curve. Those first 3 EPs are some of my favorite music of the early 90's.
Have faith, Lush supporters - for they tweeted today:
"…and to our North American friends… you won't be left out…"

Seth,
I'd love to see a Taylor Swift/Andre Rieu double bill….I could see this as a great surprise at the club show….I'm sure Taylor would love to play with one of her idols…

I'm guessing this would be a Merriweather show.
I <3 MPP so that would be PERFECT!
