I think you're right. Seth will take care of the crybabies. Once that ticket is scannned the first day, it is essentially worthless. I hope they just deface the back or tear it. However ya never know what meathead (with no tolerance for crybabies) will be working the gate. PLEASE SETH TAKE CARE OF THE COLLECTORS!

You've been bitchin for months about Amy Winehouse, she's finally coming within walking distance and you're already moaning about a repeat visit? Are you being held in a "rehabilitation" facility, house arrest, are your movements otherwise limited? While for the most part I also like the artists you champion, the whining makes the fanbase look scarier than it actually is. I want to help you out, if you don't have an ankle bracelet and can actually leave a 40 mile radius I'm willing to foot the bill to the concert of your choice (philly, new york, boston, richmond, charlotte, etc) in this timezone as long you promise NOT to ask for the same artist to come to DC more than ONCE every six months, and no female artist or lead vocalist in a band every nine months. This is no-shit offer, it just pains me to see all this repetitiveness in your posts. I can see you're crying out for help.
True story!!!!! Fu*k it!!! I'll go half on it with you!!!!! Just to shut him/her/it THE FU@K UP!!!! (Punctuation intended.)

This isn't about my liking, but rather yours. If you think I'm bullshiting pick a show/venue of your choice out of the DC area & PM me the details and I'll cover it under the conditions that I outlined earlier. But heaven help you if you don't abide by those conditions after your trip, this board will be merciless and you'll have to hide under Lily Allen's summer dress for her remaining 5 minutes of fame to escape the barage. I don't care if it's a Liza Minelli, Avril Lavigne, Ashley Simpson tri-headlining tour if you want to go it's on me, just remember the rules.

Hey Seth
I purchased tickets to the Ben Gibbard show and I am unable to attend due to the second show being added and bumping up the ticket time. Can I get a refund since the time had changed on the tickets, and I was planning on getting off at 7 pm and now I will miss one of my favorite artists and possibly some of the Gibbard performance.
Please let me know what to do. I contacted the 9:30 Club and Tickets.com, and no body has an answer for me. PS. I was never contacted about the show changing times, I was browsing the site in hopes of finding out the possible set times for the show.

bully, i once asked you about your age and you replied that you "were old enough to drink". at the time i assumed you meant you were 21. i'm now starting to think that you actually meant "i've decided i'm old enough to drink", or "i can now hold my liquor like a big person"… because your writing style, non-sensical diva obsession, insults and "come-backs" (term used loosely) have convinced me you're definitely younger than 21. either that, or my confidence in the education system has sunk even further.

Yeh, I remembered that which was why I offered to pay for a trip. But if he/she is a minor I rescind that offer, I don't need a pedophile rap over my head, or aid and abetting a runaway. I was convinced it was just a persona but the amount of evidence that this is a real person, who is REALLY like this is overwhelming. I basically read this board to get the jump on upcoming shows, and to take the piss out of someone every now and then. What this person gets I have no clue, there has to be a ton of websites/message boards that cater to his/her particular proclivities and would relish to swap syrupy banter about the latest diva-tte coming out of the UK. Bull break it down for the clueless here, what gives? Identity crisis, are you coming to terms with your changing body? With the exception of Dupek we're pretty open minded and liberal and can handle the truth. We just want to help you, help us.

What? I am just coming up here to have a little fun and talk. I started posting after the Masive Attack show(please don't have them come back!), but like I said this is just for fun. I am a eccentric guy and like to be well versed about many subjects. I am not having an identity crisis but maybe a midlife one. I don't have a body issue because I am tall and skinny but thanks for caring.
If you want to I would like to go to NY to see Amy Winehouse. I will promise not to post about having the same artist come back except for once a year. I defenitely don't like Avril or whoever else you named. I don;t believe the hype and trust my own gut with music.
Oh yeah, I am not a tranny either.

wow, from this I guess you are a college yuppie making lots of $$$$. You must have went to Harvard and run a Fortune 500 company. I honestly think you are the obsessed with me and need to chill. I am old enough to pay rent and gamble. Sorry I am not obsessed with ding-dong. Calm down and try being nice and sweet.

I think it's about time to ask for squarepusher again. Maybe putting in this req a little earlier would've resulted in his being booked for v-fest. I'd much rather a club show anyway. It's surprising that he played no US dates at all in order to push his phenominal most recent album.

hey seth -
Muse are playing two east coast dates in august (NYC on 8/06, Philly on 8/10) - can we get them to headline a date here in DC?
and since i have your attention, i'll cue up my on-going requests for squarepusher and aphex twin. thanks!
aside: did you know the 930 Club
is listed on LiveNation.com? one might think it's a livenation venue :) "buy tickets" does point to tickets.com, though. interestingly enough, they have a 930 RSS feed… might have to sign up.
edit: just noticed that elvis costello is a livenation event, i guess that's what got the club listed there.
