Dylan's coming back to town this fall. Can you get him to play the club again?
Yeah, but I got an e-mail from Ticketmaster today offering me a pre-sale password to his fall tour if I pre-order his new album through iTunes. Washington was listed as one of the fall tour stops.
I got that email too. Personally, I'd prefer another show at The Warner Theater. The club beats the hell out of a baseball stadium though.

no no no, please no warner theater. that was definitely my least favorite dylan show of the past five years. if i'm gonna pay $75, i'd rather see him at the club and not at one of those "should i stand, should i sit, well that person's standing, so maybe i'll stand, but everyone behind me is sitting, fuck, i don't know what i should do" places.

also, seeing dylan at a baseball stadium in the boonies with lots of locals is pretty damn fun, i must say. i've met some hilarious folks at aberdeen and bowie the past couple summers.
save your $$$. He's no longer good. He mumbles throughout his show….heh

Well…I don't remember anything like that going on around me last time. I do, however, remember the club being insanely crowded and uncomfortable. Both shows were fun, but I definitely had a better experience at The Warner. <shrug>

Seth, could you please book Sparklehorse? Maybe sometime around their New York performance on September 19th?

i second the motion, but NOT on the 23rd please, unless you add them to Vfest.
I third Sparklehorse, but I want you to make them play Detroit. Come on, Seth, you can do it!!

hey seth you gotta get those front fills working consistantly at the 930. gus says he leaves it up to each band to turn them on. they should always be on. they should be bigger. or maybe angle the lower main stacks more toward the front of the floor. if you are up front the vocals and any instruments not close by can barely be heard. thx for your consideration.

Nice work. If I can be of any assitance, please don't hesitate to ask. I still have some relations with the Germans and the French, and their assitance in a UN peace keeping force in southern Lebanon is essential to maintain the cease fire and control Hezbollah.

After that's in place, you can turn your attention back to dismantling Iran's nuclear program. I'm sure you were very close before these silly "distractions" like "hey, can we have sparklehorse at the 9:30??!?"
Hey Seth, Thank you for the Citizen Cope shows! They should be great. I was wondering if we could get some MUSE, Buckcherry, or Lostprophets…Any chance?

personally, i'd rather see Sparklehorse than worry about all that Lebanon crap and what not. come on, we're all getting nuked one day anyway, can we at LEAST see some Sparklehorse before we go????
Any chance you can get The Mars Volta to play on 10/24 when they're heading south to GA from PA (esp. since they're staying up north when RHCP comes to Pimlico)? While I'm here, I'll also 2nd the Muse request.

You wouldn't happen to know where they are going to park their unguarded van chocked full of expensive goodies while they're sleeping here in DC/MD?!?

Hey Seth!!!

I know this is a long shot but what hell, it never hurts to ask, right? Well it's been about a million years since Madness has toured the US and I can't afford to go to the UK just to see them… so can you get them to come here? Please, please, pretty please???

(Like I said, it never hurts to ask!!)
Any chance we can get a DC/Baltimore date added onto Sufjan Stevens' tour, Seth?

I humbly second that.
If you do get Sufjan, be sure to have a volume pre-sale and a soft sale.
