i'll see your obligatory Squarepusher request, and raise you a mandatory Aphex Twin reminder. ha!
is this our queue to talk crypticly about the last 930 aphex twin show?
the reminder was for seth, but yeah it usually followed by you or bearman exclaiming how great the last show was, without ever explaining exactly why it was so great :p

see, seth? we need new material. an aphex twin show would provide us with that. please bring richard back!
Fine…2 words: pot brownie. There, you got it outta me. You need to buy me a drink to get the rest of the story, including what happened after i got home that night.

part of it? the bears. and i'm not talking about bearman.

I am so all over this. :D
My girlfriend is the one with the allergy and she really likes it (she really missed beer until this came out). Compared to regular beer it's not amazing tasting but if it's all you can have it's the best she's tried. It's also pretty easy to find in stores around here.

Seth…any chance you could get Red Bridge beer at one of the bars? It's a decent beer for people with gluten/wheat allergies (made with sorgham so it's wheat free). Budweiser makes it so it should be easy to get. Thanks.
Interesting…not being able to drink beer is the #2 hardest thing about having a gluten allergy. So I would second the request for gluten-free beer, definitely! But I've never tried it. Is it decent, Chip?

and how about that drummer?
He was fantastic. I saw you up there enjoying the show/drummer, and was waiting for you to come down to play on a song!
The best thing for me was being close enough to see Glenn and Chris looking at each other during the set. It is so great to see them having fun, and actually making genuine contact with each other. I hope it goes on long enough for me to see them again.
Now, how about that Feelies show?
L'palooza weekend next year has been announced for second wknd of August. P-l-e-a-s-e, oh really please —- we don't want to see a date conflict with VMFest, like last year.
hey seth is dave stewart happening????
seth, please get billy idol to dc. prefer seeing him at the club, but i'll take vfest next year.

i'm sure he'll let you play drums on moni moni or rebel yell
I second the Feelies
Amy MacDonald will be in NYC and NJ at the end of September. Any chance of a DC show, please?
Hey Seth,

I know I've brought it up before, but now there is more of a chance then ever. Kylie Minogue is playing some in South American in November, and she just added a few more (I think 5 total). Can you please get her to the US. I'm sure she's thinking about it, but probably only doing NYC, LA, etc. A DC show would be amazing, at any venue.

Thanks so much!

And thanks for Girl Talk.

Oh. My. Gawd. Yes!

I've always thought she should do a North American Club Tour. Seth, can we make this happen? Yes, I realize it's nearly impossible, just putting it out there!
Hey Seth, 3 letters:

Hey Seth! The new PA is awesome!
Hey Seth… Revisiting a request from months ago about the Stray Cats. I have no idea at all if they are going to hit the US eventually during this farewell tour but I don't see how they couldn't. Anyway please get them to the club. This would be a good thing.
heya seth old pal,

the Easy Star All-Stars (of "dub side of the moon" and "Radiodread" fame) will be touring europe in a few weeks. should they happen to do a stateside tour thereafter, i think they'd make a lovely addition to the 930's line-up. thanks!
I really want to say they opened for someone in the area very recently but forget who it was.

Hey Seth, it looks like the Specials, or at least the Specials minus Jerry Dammers, have reunited and are looking to play shows next year. How about a warm DC welcome with a sold out 930 gig or 2 or 5? :)
