Ah, so you can fully relate to how perturbed I can sometimes get with some of the DC locals expecting you and I to always forfeit shows for their convenience. ;) It's always us who are expected to do all of the schlepping.
hey we pay more in rent and mortgages for a reason!!
And you get paid much more for that reason. Try living on Baltimore money and hanging out in DC. We lose even after the extra drive and gas money.

And that extra hour with the time difference.

absolutely, great live show. please please add them to my ever-expanding request list, alongside Air, Daft Punk, Squarepusher, Sparklehorse, LCD Soundsystem…

damn, rather demanding huh?
LCD Soundsystem in April.
PLEASE.
Hey Seth -

Could you please book the Stooges for two nights when they get going with their tour this spring?

Thanks!

Your pal,

Carlos
apparently, the Igmeister has decreed "no bars"…only real theaters

and then, for some reason, assumed there was nowhere to do that here

but I will ask again

your bestest buddy,

Seth
Shit. Keep trying Seth!
Any idea what the closest stop will be?
the lincoln theatre wouldn't be acceptable to his royal highness?

My list is pretty much your list. Excellent choices. Marry me?
How about the Warner Theatre?
Yeah that list pretty much covers most of the acts I'd like to see in '07 as well.

yup i'm a dude, but i cry like a little girl when i don't get what i want (hear that seth?!?). i can't say those acts are the edgiest/cred'iest out there, but i'm sure their live shows would kick ass (and sell a lot of tickets).

julian, if we can't figure out the NJ vs. VT thing, we could always run off to canada… although i foresee probs with our relationship already. i can't agree with you, yet you're allowed agreeing with me… but thanks for the offer :p
Any chance for a solo Jeff Tweedy show after his Charlottesville date at the end of Jan.(which is the last stop on his tour)? That show sold out quickly, so there is obviously more demand in the area, and I think the last solo Tweedy show around these parts was in 2001.

Thanks!
A electronic thank you note for Seth:

Seth, thanks for booking 4 nights of Thievery Corporation. Hope its been as fun for you as it's been for us. I ache all over for all the dancing I've done for the last 3 nights!

Can I make a request-would it be possible for them to always do an end of year show? I'm guessing 4 nights in a row next year might not be possible, but at least 1 or 2 shows. Start making it an annual event of sorts!

Thanks again!
