i'm not saying this is the only factor organizers are taking in to consideration, but it is one.  just b/c it's sold out doesn't mean they want to dilute its uniqueness.

I'm pretty sure that the people who already have tickets to freefest and who want to see LCD SS most of all would still go to the festival even if LCD SS was doing a club show (which it would definitely sell out).

If you had tickets to see your favorite band for free at a festival (with alot other acts that would probably interest you) and the said band decided to come to your hometown, wouldn't you still hit up the free festival?

Per Brooklyn Vegan: LCDSS is also playing University of Maryland - Baltimore on Sunday (9/26) (with Sleigh Bells).  I haven't seen this date posted anywhere else though…

looks like he's gonna play nice theaters as opposed to 1,200 capacity clubs.

Seth/twangirl can you please bring Mumford and Sons back to the club? Please just one more at the club before they have to push out to DAR. I know, they were just here, but they are touring the States again and visiting places/cities they were at a few months ago. I missed out on the show b/c I missed out on getting a ticket (*azag, ahem*). Nah, seriously, I missed them due to not getting a ticket in time & I'd love to see them. Hoping price will still be set around $35 - b/c when / if they do move on to DAR the price will go up, I predict. Not sure what they schedule will allow, link above.
