Hey Seth

NYC: Sep 25 & 26: Caetano Veloso

Can we bring him closer, or should I buy tickets for NYC?

great question!

he's never played an IMP promoted show that i know of and Seth is on record about how they dont' know shit bout latin music….. he played lisner last time i want to say…..i saw him at the warner in 1998 (Livro Tour)…stellar show…that was the place and time to see him for DC concertgoers…. a bit unfortunately for me i was more a nervous man on the make than concentrated listener….

then in 2001 or 2002 I saw him in Bs As for the Noites Da Norte Tour (still a favorite album)…. that was good but my seats were a bit too far…

and thats all i got to add here…Seth, baton to you…

I already tried this like a month ago. No dice… so far!
They might want to wait until they have their new album our (release date unknown as far as I know) before the full tour.
They're also in Mexico in October so probably a full tour will be announced soon…

I'm hoping and praying Seth is just waiting two weeks to Weblebrity Is A Bitch Day to announce it!!
Bob Dylan is playing three dates at the Paramount in Seattle in October…

I did not. but I already knew all that… between 1996-2000 I was a Dylan maniac… I even had a train stopped one time so I could make a show…

by the way Seth - after all this is the Hey Seth thread- thanks so much for those two shows at the 930 Club in the late 90s… those were gold and we got a good fun crew to them….it was cool how tickets were distributed old school to those who stood in line..
Thanks for Willie!!!!!!!!!!!!

when they, come to this country again, you will, have them.
I see Massive Attack is playing west coast dates around the Treasure Island Music Festival. If they do east coast dates, i would love to see them back at the club.
