Hey Seth,

The Hives are touring with Maroon 5 and will be in the area mid-October. The tour has lots of open dates, probably because the Maroon 5 boys work so hard and need their rest. I'm willing to bet The Hives would love to do a gig in a venue that appreciates them.

but there's still nothing on 930.com or tickets.com. What's the deal with this show? Who's playing?

We are still confirming performers for the dc space thing. There will be a lot of them, and a complete list will be posted no later than tomorrow. We can't put the tix onsale without a door time, and without a clear idea of how many performers there will be, it's hard to know what the total running time of the event will be. Although we could have just gone with doors at noon to be on the safe side, I think it''ll be more like 4 or 5 pm.
It's shaping up to be a really good time though, as you will see once the artist list is complete.

It's high time for a return visit from Patti Smith. She's playing everyone on the east coast except here this summer.

Smashing Pumpkins are currently on tour, it would be be so awesome if you could have them play 9:30 Club. Also, could you make the tickets available to those that did not get them for the first time around.
