Don't worry Ratbastard there will be some type of Foo Fighters announcement tomorrow or Tuesday this week.  However it might not include the DC show or 9:30 Club.

This means Patriot Center or chili cook off  ;D

I say neither.
Was there an announcement?

No, I was just speculating but yeah nothing announced so far.  The one thing I heard is they are doing that play in your garage contest  ;D

Right. April 13 in DC. Hopefully you sent in a photo of your garage and will invite us.
The open date of Apr 12 at BC seemed a possibility; but the date has been filled.
Perhaps they're fulfilling the garage tour product endorsement shows for now.
I third that SLEEP request! C'mon bring some metal back to the club….maybe get Wino to open up or something!

oh and thanks again for getting Omar Rodriguez. Twas a good show.
Queens of The Stone Age
Death From Above 1979
Gogol Bordello
Major Lazer
Anna Calvi, please.

05-23 Philadelphia, PA - Johnny Brenda?s
05-25 New York, NY - Bowery Ballroom
05-27 Toronto, Ontario - El Mocambo

And if/when they come back to the U.S. – Atari Teenage Riot.

Thanks
OK so this is getting pretty picked and all but just in case…  I am taking my son and his beloved on a 7-day cruise when he graduates MOS training in lat May.  Proud as hell of that boy being a fellow Marine and all.  Anyway I will be gone from May 24th to June 6th.  So if this FF show does happen to be pulled off can it PLEASE not be during that time frame.  There may even be one extra $1 bill in it for you Seth!  OK that's the end of my selfish 'the world revolves around me' post.  Now back to the regular requests, gripes, complaints, and run-of-the-mill ramblings that make us love each other so much (everyone but wml that is)…

Thanks for coming to speak to AU today. I really enjoyed it. Look into more paperless ticketing for future club shows.

Thanks for bringing Pat Benatar to the club!  I think it's been quite a while since she's played DC-proper.
J Geils Band is getting together for some shows in August.. A DC area date would be great..
It looks like Swans will be back on the east coast in September.

Yes, please.
Hey Seth how about getting Kyuss Lives! w/ The Sword.

They're playing Terminal 5 on September 23rd, don't make me go all the way to NYC! 9:30 needs some riffage!
Blues Explosion should have a DC date..
