Hey Seth

A little birdie told me that Queens of the Stone Age are going to tour in support of the 10th anniversary of Rated R…PLEASE Seth, they haven't played in DC in about 5 years. Any chance you can make that happen?? I'd be eternally grateful.

I don't think this is happening now (I've read mid to late 2011 as the earliest US dates will happen), but I'd love to see the Queens at 930 whenever they do tour.
Congrats to Seth for 9:30 Club being named "Top Club of the Year" by Billboard!

And to throw in a real request.  Kylie Minogue should be touring the US again in 2011.
hey seth . . . does the club sell tacos?  if not, you should start.

And MPP was robbed by The Hollywood Bowl!!

Ever been to the Hollywood Bowl?  It's not even close.

But, the big news today was you folks adding The Independent.  I'll still buy mostly from the box office, but for those tough shows I'm happy to now be using TFly.
We did we did! Hooray!

Thanks, Vansmack! When you go to the box, you can drink $1 drafts across the street at Beanbag Cafe.

I go there often to read, though I prefer The Page for pre-game as it's closer to my place and has, well, that auora about it…

Somehow I missed this - I'd fly back to DC for this…
That "aura" is dirty carpet I think.

Cool! We should have a West Coast boardies meet-up. You guys can all come to Ticketfly HQ and yell at me face to face! Then I'll buy you beers and we can hug.

Who else is local???

i know of at least one other SF-based boardee, but as you might expect 90% of people here are in the DC/VA/MD area.

oh man.  with smackie?  what i wouldn't give to be a spectator at this one…
Roxette!

Do it Seth! come on join the joyride!

:)
Queens of the Stone Age might tour? I wonder if that is the reason why Josh isn't hitting Europe with his old buddies in Kyuss Lives. If Queens does tour, a 9:30 appearance would be most appreciated.

Is it too early to make Virgin Freefest requests?

"The shows will involve all the original members of the band (Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russell Senior and Mark Webber) and they will be playing songs from all periods of their career. (Yes that means they'll be playing your favourites)"
