the rapture have a new album coming out on september 6, called "In The Grace Of Your Love".  they're playing NYC on august 20.  any chance we could get them back at the club?  or freefest?  their last show at the 930 was amazing.

yours, in trust,

"Björk is currently in the middle of
the first run of Biophilia shows,
taking place at the Manchester International Festival in Manchester, England. This is indicative of the way she intends to tour behind the album. Over
the next three years, she plans to play six-week residencies in eight cities, all at intimate venues, to audiences of less than 2,000. At these performances,
she'll use the apps to perform Biophilia in full twice a week." — Umm, yeah.
Probably more of a Birchmere thing, but Matthew Sweet is doing a 20th Anniversary Girlfriend Unplugged show.
Queens of the Stone Age

have you heard any of the new album.  i've only heard two songs . . . but man, is it just me or does bork music just sound like all bork music now?
A Pixies Doolittle show in November would be the bee's knees…….
they're only doing cities they haven't played…that's what the email said last nite.

how about they make a new album . . . and play that?  crutches are for people who can't walk.
The Black Angels.  Please.
I have only heard Crystalline and it sounds very homogenicish to me which is not a bad thing.

They were just here.
The Olivia Tremor Control have a nice little gap here.

09-21 New York, NY - Le Poisson Rouge

Oh Elbow are already playing the club that night. Yawn.
Kelis! i forgot about that
BRMC is supposedly announcing a tour in the next few weeks. Can we get yet another 9:30 show? :)

And this time, can you please tell Rob to stop motioning for the speakers to be turned up once they've reached JAMC/MBV levels?
Yeah, that show was unnecessarily loud. JAMC and MBV sound great at those levels. BRMC, not so much. I felt like I was in a big mud puddle.
Not liking the fake celebrity bullshit pushed by the Virgin Mobile Live Facebook feed that I'm forced to "like" if I want a chance at Freefest tix. Can we have a separate feed for the adults?
Also agreed.
Seth,

Thanks for the Beady Eye date on Dec. 8th! Looking forward to it!  Cheers.
