In California, if a band is rumoured to play but turns up in Denmark instead, you get a pre-emptive refund!
I heard they fly you to Denmark then give you a refund for the inconvenience.

Hey Seth

Any chance you could get Throwing Muses to play in August (They're playing two gigs in Boston and NYC Aug 111 and 12)
You'd go to a concert a week before the birth of your second child?

sure, I might even bring my wife and make her stand up front…..and I'd probably smoke cigars w/ Chaz in front of our kids before I went to the concert

You really are a weird little man on your weird little moral high horse on things that are none of your business……a therapist could probably get a lifetimes work out of you….underneath your narcissism you're clearly a a seething pool of self-loathing…..oh, and heres a suggestion….why not wait until you actually have children before you start criticizing the parenting habits of others…..
Sorry, I just know I would catch hell if I went to a concert on my own with my wife nine months pregnant. So much so that I wouldn't even consider the possibility of going.

But if you won't, the more power to you. Stop being so defensive, you little twerp.

Mrs. Chaz and I went to see Iggy at the club together about a week before her due date with our first. Good times…..never forget it. A really happy memory of a great show and us being excited for our little bundle of joy.

Friends that worked at the club at the time made sure we got to sit in the vip area so she wasn't on her feet the whole time.

But really, what's the big deal about going to a show a week before due date? Esp. if Mrs. Brennser is ok with it???

Rhett, your notion of like stopping when the parenting begins is pretty funny. And that's all I'll say about that.
At nine months, I reckon I'll be bending over backward to please my wife. I know that going to a concert alone (or with her) would not please my wife at that point.

Like I said, if it pleases Mrs. Brennser go right ahead. Viva la difference, I guess.

Thank God for that.
seth, will you have thievery corporation at the club again this summer, or will they only be at the v festival in september?

myself, and i'm sure several hundred others would love to see them again at the club after last year's smokin' 3 night sold out stand.
Hey Seth,
Can you please bring Tom Waits to DC, even if it is against his will? I really don't want to go to Akron…
Thanks!
Once again, I'll beg.

Goldfrapp. This fall. PLEASE.

Ditto. And I won't bring any pregnant women to this show…scout's honor.
I got two tickets to the Tom Waits show in Asheville. Thats a long haul from Richmond, but somethings are worth the effort!
Its far-fetched . . . but Iggy Pop will be in Atlantic City Aug. 11 for a VH1 tribute to the Pretenders. How about convincing him to do a warm-up show at 9:30 on Aug. 10??
Seth,

any possibility for surcharge-free Virgin Festival tickets at 9:30, Sonar, & Merriweather box offices?
Dear Seth-

A TV On The Radio show would be pleasant.
