My wife was unaware of who he was. He showed up at a party being held by one of our beloved forum members that we were at, and began playing music (recorded, he wasn't making the music himself). After the party, my wife asked me who the guy was who showed up and played terrible music.

True story.

Wilco w/Sleater-Kinney coming to Forest Hills 8/22 and Philly 8/23.  This seems like a natural Merriweather show.

I hope you are well Seth!

Last night after watching the Biden speech I went to bed and dreamt I was back at the 930 Club..show was packed..everyone happy as clams….As usual like my dreams some of the stuff didn’t make sense..instead of being in the owner’s box you were on the stage (stage left) beaming and bopping your head to the 80s songs the band was playing…

My subconscious must be feeling a normal President will help us address this covid nightmare and get back to shows! God I hope so!

Incidentally, I had a dream I was at a Sigur Ros show at the Anthem last night. Apparently there is a Hutch/Julian mind meld going on and I’m quite disturbed.

It is pretty cool..goes back to 2005

Off the top of me head Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Mudcrutch and Iggy POP and the Stooges would be very cool possibilities for me….

This could be cool if the original poster is cool but there doesn't seem to be a way of knowing what that looks like absent a Google search. Like that Green Day on in the example looks super lame. The Fleet Foxes/Animal Collective one, on the other hand, is great.

I think the posters are the one the IMP printers came up with or IMP gave them the specs to use to print…some are cool and some are not…it’s true


I have a few around that I got from the 930 walls at shows…it’s those posters..the ones that were hanging on the long corridor in front of bathroom at 930

It says orders fulfilled by “Keepsakes Frames” which is so generic I can’t ascertain who it is

If anyone needs contact info for printer to see about a particular poster let me know but I have thought best not to post details publicly

I might be getting Sidehatch one of these done for the winter holiday of his choosing of the Lorde/RTJ show with the "personal photo" of a giant bottle of Belvidere on a boat.
