Hey Seth

Hey Seth,

Reviews of the Sweetheart of the Rodeo tour (with The Byrds' Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman) sound amazing. I can't do Richmond on a weeknight, please book them somewhere around here.

Lucinda's "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road Tour" please
Gosh that would be cool

I remember seeing the car wheels tour at the 930 …I think it was there but back then she would also play the birchmere which I also checked out

98 really was the peak of alternative country….Earle, Wilco, lu, Jayhawks, son volt and tons of others…good times for American music

Co-signed.

Between Lucy being from here and Julian recording her first LP here, I thought RVA would merit a date but the entire southeast seems skipped. :(
Any chance you can get Jawbreaker to play the 9:30 Club for a night or two?

They had to reschedule their show in Jersey that was suppose to happen this weekend, but LiveNation who booked it got all scared about the Hurricane. Plus, the band didn’t want their fans from the lower part of the East Coast to travel during such bad weather.

Considering they’re doing an indie show with the cool folks who throw Riot Fest, I don’t see why they wouldn’t do something with IMP.

Yes PLEASE
Market research: I would part with my money for a ticket to attend Jawbreaker at an IMP venue. I would probably go so far as to purchase an additional ticket for a friend or loved one.
Maybe U St Hall would work…no way 930

Guys these older legacy acts don’t draw squat!

Personally I think jawbreaker has if anything black cat written all over it…they probably never played anything bigger in DC
gonna have to agree with Hutch on his analysis
Misfits w Glenn playing Chicago on 10/27

Anthem would be epic shit

Surprisingly, I'm on the fence, but I should totally go right?!
Seth, just a shout out for the extreme professionalism of Anthem staff at the Goo Goo Dolls show. Everyone was so warm to me and my bf, from door staff to people manning the VIP area to everyone working backstage (and by the way, it was my first time back there…very cool dressing rooms!). It couldn't have been a nicer evening, and the fact that it went so well made it so pleasant. I'm really starting to appreciate the Anthem now that it's been open a while. The NIN/Jesus and Mary Chain show likewise went so smoothly and for being a sold out show it felt like there was just the right amount of room. No hassles at all. Congrats on the first full year.
Hey Seth, any chance you could bring The Hives and Refused tour to DC?  It would be very cool to see this at the club.
