I agree! I would totally bring my mom and dad to this one.

Another thing I'd like to request is Scott Weiland at the club. I know that many years ago he played the club for his first solo album. I read recently he's touring for his second (newest) solo album in January and February. It would be pretty awesome to see him in a small setting like the club.
I thought he played the Lincoln Theatre on U Street or was set to do so.. you might want to look into that..
Hey SETH!!!!! Thanks for bringing the Eagles of Death Metal.. fabulous rocking stuff!

Speaking of rocking how about bringing Airbourne?… they are an australian band that invariably draws comparisons to ac dc….

I don't think that happened. Pollstar says he's playing DC in January. Venue TBA.
I looked into it: Weiland was scheduled for Nov 22 2008 at the Lincoln Theatre but it must have been cancelled…
Hey Seth,

I know I'll get laughed at, but Jesse McCartney has a few open dates between Holiday Radio Shows this December (9-10, and 15th) and I know a bunch of people who would love you to book that. I appreciate it you looking at it, even if it doesn't happen this winter. I mean he's got to be better than Katy Perry. Thanks Seth!
the club should host an inauguration watching party…
I just think the club should book crazy awesome shows for Inauguration weekend!

Now yer talking….the Clinton 90's, the good ol' days.

Bye bye manimtired and your silly party that has abandoned you and its constituents and gave you hockey moms and drill baby drill…..
Hum just added a New Years Day show. By the time I figured out airlines and hotels and all that.. it too sold out. So, two shows is kind-of a tour.. no? oh.

Anyway.. (Hey Seth).. any chance you can lure Hum to the 9:30??
If Hum comes back to DC, the town will never be the same again. Nothing would make me happier, or deafer.
So Suicide are playing their first album in its entirety at ATP NY on 9/4.

Just a thought about the somewhat distant future. ;)
So, rumor has it the Flaming Lips are opening for Wilco at their other, non-Baltimore headlining show (Rochester, NY) this december.  Does the Lyric show have an opener at all, let alone one this splendid?
